Our work is grounded in a evidence based, research-validated reading intervention: Take Flight

Take Flight is a curriculum developed by Scottish Rite for Children- a research children's hospital.

It is a comprehensive intervention for students with dyslexia. Take Flight is a two year program designed for ages 7 and up. It can be used one-on-one or for small group instruction.

Take Flight is a multisensory, systematic, explicit curriculum that teaches the Five Effective Components of Reading Instruction:

Phonemic Awareness

Phonics

Fluency

Vocabulary and

Reading Comprehension

Key Research Findings have shown that students who complete the Take Flight program show significant growth in all areas of reading skill. Students with the lowest reading skills make the strongest gains from Take Flight instruction.
